So far we’ve sent duvets to Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Austria, Sweden, Iceland, Dubai, the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, Russia, Korea, Hong Kong, and China- and these days we’ve stopped counting!
While we ship worldwide for free, in the event of a product swap or refund customers ordering from outside Europe are responsible for organising and paying for a delivery service to return unwanted products back to us. Find out more on our Returns & Refund Policy page.
Delivery times will fall within the following ranges:
– UK / European delivery: 4 to 20 working days
– Outside Europe: up to 20 days extra

Note: Most workshops close during holiday periods. Please allow extra working days for delivery during these times, especially between Christmas and New Year.
VAT and Handling Fees
Following the UK’s departure from the EU, goods shipped from EU-based businesses such as ours are now subject to VAT and possible extra delivery charges upon delivery to the UK. If you are a UK-based customer, please be aware that the prices on our website do not include these costs.
The delivery company responsible for the delivery of your order will collect VAT on behalf of the UK government. VAT in the UK is charged at 20% of the value of your order.
You may also be asked to pay additional delivery charges or “handling fees” by the delivery company to cover the cost of customs paperwork and processes. These charges are determined by the delivery company, with some charging a fixed fee (usually in the £5-£15 range) and others a small percentage rate on the value of your order.
When your order has arrived in the UK you will be contacted by the delivery company responsible to arrange payment of VAT and any handling fees.
EU-based customers will be charged VAT at checkout. Customers ordering from outside Europe may be charged VAT, customs duties and handling fees according to the country of delivery.
When your order is sent, you will receive a Track & Trace code which you can use to follow the progress of your order.
Your Order Status
A copy of the automated order confirmation (containing your order number) will be sent to you by email. Should you have any questions about the status of your order, please call or email us. We will be able to update you regarding the status of your order.
Receiving Your Order
Your order will be delivered to the address given by you at the time of buying. All goods will be delivered in accordance with EU law for purchases from abroad. This includes a mandatory 14 day return period. However, at Downduvet.co.uk we want you to be completely satisfied with your duvet. Any duvet bought with us can therefore be returned up to 100 days after your initial purchase.
